Job Description

Space X is developing technologies to enable human life on Mars. As a Mechanical Engineer, Machine Design, you will work with elite engineers to design and build critical production assets for the Starship launch vehicle.

This position involves collaboration across multiple disciplines, including daily interactions with engineers, technicians, suppliers, and leadership. You will work at our Starship production facility in Brownsville, Texas, but may travel to other Space X locations as necessary.

The successful candidate will have experience designing and analyzing mechanical structures, finite element analysis, and GD&T. They must be able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively in a team setting.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • Experience using CAD software design packages (e.g., Solidworks, NX, CATIA, or Pro E)
  • 1+ years of total experience in designing and analyzing mechanical structures
