Melbourne, Australia is witnessing a historic ramp up in aviation. We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Marshaller in a permanent full-time position.

The role will require collaboration with the Driver to position catering trucks at aircraft, focusing on manual handling activities like loading and unloading carts and equipment.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Marshalling the Driver to position the truck according to policies and procedures.
  • Loading and unloading trucks with carts, ovens, and standard units.
  • Packing and preparing catering equipment.
  • Preparing, packing, and checking completed flights and deliveries at the kitchen production unit.
  • Conducting basic serviceability and maintenance checks of vehicles and/or equipment.
  • Cleaning duties and performing administrative documentation and reporting tasks as needed.
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Working in accordance with the Company's policy on HALAL, HACCP, Food Safety, and WHS.

To be successful in securing this role, applicants must possess:

  • A valid Aviation Security Identification Card.
  • Flexibility to work around flight schedules, given the 7-day per week operation.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • A satisfactory police record and criminal history check.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • The capability to perform frequent manual handling tasks.
