We are a dynamic organisation committed to changing the game for people with disabilities. With over 40 hubs across Australia, we work in the social and early childhood Key Worker models, providing interventions to NDIS participants and their families.

Key Worker Role Overview

This full-time or part-time position is based in Western Brisbane and surrounding areas. As a Key Worker, you will deliver interventions to children aged 0-8 and their families, leading to positive life-changing outcomes.

Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver therapy in diverse settings, including homes, schools, playgrounds, and community centres
  • Conduct initial appointments, utilising assessment and communication skills to get to know families, their child, and goals
  • Work collaboratively with preschool teachers to support children's motor skills development
  • Coach parents in finding suitable schools for their children
  • Support children to develop communication and social skills through collaborative work with Speech Pathologists and family members
  • Built meaningful relationships with participants and their supports (family, carers, friends)
  • Document and bill sessions through our online participant management system
  • Provide support for children after school to establish consistent routines
  • Attend weekly team meetings, sharing stories of impact and learning opportunities

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A relevant tertiary qualification and registration (Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Speech Pathologist, or Educator)
  • Minimum 12 months experience working with children aged 0-8 and their families
  • Demonstrated experience working with children with disability
  • Positive and flexible approach to work
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork ability
  • Commitment to personal and professional growth
  • Valid Australian drivers license
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Childrens Check
  • Availability and commitment to support before/after school appointments

Estimated salary: AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
