About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of contracts, developing procurement strategies, and overseeing the Contract Administration team.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to exercise judgment and provide expert advice.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies to manage a portfolio of contracts.
  2. Negotiate on behalf of the work area to achieve strategic objectives.
  3. Exercise decision-making and provide expert advice.
  4. Monitor contract administration activities for compliance with policies and procedures.
  5. Oversee procurement and evaluation processes for tenders and quotes.
  6. Manage and develop a team of Contract Administrators.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in procurement and contracts administration.
  • Expert knowledge of procurement and contract management strategies, contract law, workplace legislation, and contractual risks.
  • A current C Class Licence is required.
