We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Specialist to play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students and staff.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Specialist. The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out internal and external cleaning duties, using their initiative and following instructions from the supervisor.

  • The successful applicant will be required to obtain a valid Working With Children Check and consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check before commencing employment.

To be eligible for this role, applicants must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.

Key Selection Criteria

The selection criteria for this role include:

  • Demonstrated ability to read and apply Material Safety Data Sheets, equipment operating instructions, safety instructions, and training guidelines.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to use cleaning equipment, including polishers, vacuum cleaners, and pressure cleaners.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, follow instructions, and work as a member of a team.
