Maintenance Officer Position

  • Permanent Role
  • Full-Time Equivalent (37.5 hours per week for 48 weeks per year)

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Officer to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting repairs, and ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for staff, students, and visitors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting routine maintenance tasks
  • Troubleshooting equipment issues
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Providing support for events and activities

The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance and/or grounds work. Desirable but not essential qualifications include electrical, fitting and turning, machinery licence and/or horticultural.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time equivalent position based at our Murray Bridge location. The successful candidate will be commencing as soon as possible and will be required to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Relevant trade qualifications or experience in maintenance and/or grounds work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy equipment
