We are seeking a skilled Salon Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional grooming and retail services.

The Role

This leadership position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about pets, and has strong customer service and team coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily salon operations
  • Support and manage a team of groomers
  • Ensure high grooming standards, dog welfare, and customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate grooming schedules and client bookings
  • Conduct quality checks and manage client feedback
Retail & Customer Service:
  • Manage the boutique retail space and visual merchandising
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and build lasting relationships
  • Promote sales, product knowledge, and new stock launches
  • Onboard and train new staff
  • Lead with positivity, accountability, and collaboration
  • Coordinate rosters and ensure coverage for appointments
Operations & Administration:
  • Manage day-to-day business operations and key performance indicators
  • Handle store reporting, ordering, inventory control, and financial performance
  • Collaborate on local marketing initiatives and events

About You:

  • Experience in retail and/or grooming management (pet industry experience beneficial)
  • You're confident, personable, and love building genuine relationships
  • Comfortable speaking with customers, including handling enquiries and feedback
  • You bring strong sales and service skills, able to recommend products and services
  • Calm and solution-focused when managing incidents or complaints
  • Experienced in team leadership, scheduling, and operations
  • Organised and efficient in managing schedules and operations
  • Passionate about pets and creating a high-quality experience
