Event Marketing Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Event Marketing Strategist to develop and execute our APAC-focused event marketing strategy. This role will be responsible for working with internal teams, industry organisations, and external vendors to define and deliver event programs that drive pipeline and revenue.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of in-person and virtual event marketing strategy and operations, as well as validated experience executing best-in-class owned and third-party events. They will work closely with key stakeholder teams to ensure marketing materials and execution align with our branding and business objectives.

This opportunity requires an individual with excellent organisational and planning skills who thrives in a fast-growing, high-energy technology-focused environment.

  • Develop event marketing strategies and execution plans based on our target audience and segment-based strategy.
  • Lead strategic planning of annual third-party tradeshows in partnership with Demand Generation and Campaign Marketing Teams.
  • Partner with performance, branding, campaigns, and web marketing teams around event promotion.
  • Manage event marketing budgets and track ROI to realise the impact of event marketing on our business.

Key qualifications include:

  • 12+ years of event management and planning experience in a SaaS or B2B technology company.
  • Ability to think strategically about targeting our target audience via events with commercial acumen and understanding of ROI.
  • Solid understanding of event marketing, management, and logistics, including program development and execution.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-moving environment.
