Insurance Portfolio Manager

We are seeking an experienced insurance portfolio manager to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our REAC team, you will be responsible for managing a significant portfolio of clients and ensuring their insurance and risk management needs are fully met.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance broking, with a minimum of 10 years experience in the financial services industry. They will also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with others and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a significant portfolio of clients to ensure their insurance and risk management needs are fully met.
  • Contribute to new business activities and identify and develop new business prospects by cross-marketing.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with key stakeholders, including insurance markets and distribution partners.
  • Provide personalized advice to clients in all matters affecting their insurance program needs.
  • Ensure timely and favorable settlement of claims by following up claims with internal Claims Department or Insurer Claims Officer.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years insurance broking experience within the financial services industry with local and international markets.
  • Knowledge of insurance products, legislative obligations, and claim processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of attention to detail, quality standards, and compliance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
