Key Responsibilities

The Client Manager is responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries, delivering high-level service and advice on general insurance requirements.

The Role Involves:
  • Taking ownership of a commercial client portfolio and providing exceptional service and advice on all general insurance needs.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, insurers, and underwriters.
  • Conducting annual pre-renewal meetings and internal strategy sessions as required.
  • Developing a deep understanding of client businesses and proactively identifying and managing insurance needs.
  • Arranging specialized insurance cover in complex cases and managing the insurance marketing process to deliver optimal results.
  • Providing written confirmation of cover prior to expiry and detailed insurance manuals post-renewal.
  • Preparing professional reports for new business and renewals.
  • Managing claims awareness and ensuring progress is monitored and communicated.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through referrals and networking.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Tier 1 qualification in Insurance Broking, which is essential. A University degree is highly regarded.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in the General Insurance industry, with the majority of these years spent in a broking or underwriting capacity.
