We are seeking an experienced and motivated hospitality professional to lead the daily operations of our 4-star motel in Armidale, NSW. The role involves overseeing front desk, reservations, and housekeeping services; supervising and rostering staff; maintaining high guest satisfaction; monitoring performance indicators; liaising with suppliers; and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee all aspects of the motel's operations, serving as the primary point of contact for guests, staff, and suppliers.
  2. Ensure smooth check-in/check-out processes.
  3. Manage reservations and guest relations.
  4. Supervise and train staff.
  5. Handle budgets, expenses, and supplier relationships.
  6. Maintain property presentation and compliance.
  7. Manage opening and closing duties, ensuring daily operational readiness and secure nightly shutdowns.
  8. Provide guests with up-to-date local tourism information, and coordinate tour bookings and transportation arrangements.
Requirements

At least 2 years experience in front office operations, night auditing, or a similar role within motel or hotel management. Strong leadership and customer service skills. Knowledge of front office, housekeeping, and reservations systems. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a friendly, service-oriented attitude are essential in this role. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends/public holidays.
