Job Overview

We are seeking an Event Management Professional to oversee bookings, build relationships with clients and deliver exceptional events, conferences, and meetings.

The ideal candidate will be dedicated to bringing people together and creating memorable experiences for clients and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with clients to book events accurately
  • Provide exceptional service standards in-person, via email or over the phone
  • Determine client requirements to effectively meet their needs
  • Respond to meeting and events enquiries, upselling to maximise sales and revenue
  • Log all enquiries accurately in the sales system, compiling banquet event orders and reports for the Operations Team
  • Follow hotel procedures for deposits, billing and commissions
  • Maintain open communication and effective relationships with departments
Requirements
  • Previous experience in event management in a hotel or similar role
  • A passion for delivering excellent client experiences and engagement
  • Confidence in preventing problems and handling service recovery following complaints
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with hotel systems is advantageous
  • Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Collaboration to build and maintain internal and external relationships
