Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated medical professional to fill the role of Staff Specialist in Neurology.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a medical practitioner to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in the field of neurology. The successful candidate will be based within the Department of Neurology and will have obligations to both Gosford Hospital and Wyong Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent clinical care to patients with neurological conditions, ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and compassionate manner.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement clinical policies and guidelines that improve patient outcomes.
  • Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, including residents and medical students, to ensure they receive the support and guidance they need to succeed.
  • Pursue quality improvement initiatives that drive excellence in patient care and contribute to the development of best practices in the field of neurology.
Requirements
  • Hold a medical degree and be registered or eligible for registration as a medical practitioner in Australia.
  • Hold recognised specialist qualifications, such as Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, or equivalent specialist recognition.
  • Have relevant experience working as a Senior Medical Practitioner in Neurology.
