Job Opportunity: Specialist Medical Practitioner

Job Description:

We are seeking a suitably qualified medical practitioner to join our healthcare team as a Specialist in Neurology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist medical care to patients with neurological conditions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior medical staff and students.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
  • Develop and maintain clinical privileges and scope of practice.

Requirements:

  • Medical Practitioner registered or able to be registered in Australia.
  • Recognised specialist qualifications, including Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
  • Appropriate experience to practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner in Neurology.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and supervise medical and surgical trainees, residents, and medical students.
