Practice Leader

As a key leadership role within The Salvation Army's Journey to Social Inclusion (J2SI) program, the Practice Leader will provide trauma-informed support, clinical supervision, training, and group reflective practice to service teams.

This is a permanent part-time position, working 19 hours per week based out of Geelong.

  • Providing regular practice supervision for J2SI support roles and group reflective practice to program teams

The successful candidate will have a recognised Social Work/Psychology degree or equivalent, relevant postgraduate qualification, and demonstrated knowledge and understanding of development, attachment, and trauma theories as they relate to homelessness.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building positive relationships with local services and attending network meetings
  • Participating in supervision, professional development, and monitoring individual training plans with the manager
  • Contributing to Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) by identifying areas to add value and implement innovative solutions
