About the Role

Are you looking for a change of pace in your medical career? Sonic HealthPlus Darwin invites experienced General Practitioners to join their dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a special interest in Occupational Health, with exposure to pre-employment medical assessments, family medicine, men's and women's health, occupational health assessments, acute injury treatment and management, skin screening, chronic disease management, and immunisations. Our clinic runs a full suite of Occupational Medicine services, including spirometry, audiometry, DAS, EP, swim tests, FFA, serology, vaccinations, BFORT, AMSA, OGUK, Divers, Drivers, Aviation, Rail Cat, Health Surveillance, onsite DAS and EP work as well as ergonomic work onsite.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-employment medical assessments and provide expert advice on occupational health matters.
  • Deliver high-quality family medicine services, including men's and women's health care.
  • Perform occupational health assessments and provide guidance on injury prevention and management.
  • Treat acute injuries and manage chronic conditions, including skin screening and immunisations.
Requirements
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian College for General Practitioners (FRACGP).
  • Full registration with AHPRA.
  • Postgraduate training and experience in general practice.
  • Eligibility to access Medicare.
  • Proven evidence of continuous professional development and medical education.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
