Job Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled individual to join our team as a Pastoral Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to provide meaningful pastoral care services to people in need.

The successful candidate will contribute towards the efficiency and effectiveness of the Pastoral care team by engaging in effective relationship management, maintaining continual professional development, and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide pastoral care services to individuals in our care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of pastoral care strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Degree in Theology or a related field.
  • One or more units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in providing pastoral care services, preferably in a church or non-for-profit organisation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Desirable:

A graduate qualification in a relevant discipline would be advantageous.
