Human Resources Professional

We are seeking an accomplished Human Resources expert to join our Sydney-based organization. The company is comprised of multiple luxury hotels, employing approximately 140 people.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leaders and drive a positive work environment. You will be responsible for leading strategic workforce planning, development, and quality improvement initiatives, as well as coaching managers to improve capability and engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Human Resources Manager with workforce planning, development, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Leading recruitment, selection, and retention efforts
  • Coaching leaders to improve capability, engagement, and helping them create great workplaces
  • Designing and facilitating effective training programs
  • Assisting with performance management, investigations, and compliance
  • Managing workers compensation and rehabilitation processes
  • Compiling and analyzing HR metrics and communicating trends, opportunities, and risks

We are looking for a naturally people-oriented individual who can build strong relationships, has experience coaching and influencing leaders on generalist HR functions, and is passionate about creating a memorable employee experience. Ideally, you will have previous experience leading performance management conversations, familiarity with injury management and return-to-work processes, and studies in Human Resource Management or a related discipline.
