This is a critical role in the oversight of risk for the GTS Digital & Qvalent business, with a high exposure to the GTS Payments and Technology agenda. In this role, you will have key partnerships with the GTS leadership team, the Head of BCM, Business stakeholders across the Value Chain (e.g. Product, Client Engagement, Operations), second line risk teams including Compliance, Financial Crime, Operational Risk, and first line business risk and controls teams.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to ensuring the divisional and business operations and risk management practices align to the frameworks, policies, risk strategy, regulatory obligations, and appetite of the Group.
- Provide risk expertise to the business and the value chain squad in the identification, assessment, and actioning of risk and controls issues to drive a strong risk and controls culture that helps achieve business objectives.
- Support the proactive and effective monitoring, management and reporting of current and emerging risks and facilitate a strong risk culture, risk awareness and ownership of risk throughout the business and within the value chain squad.
- Provide support to the business in developing their risk profile, including defining and operationalising relevant RAS metrics, in line with risk appetite.
- Partner with stakeholders across the GTS product domain value chain to identify and enable more efficient and effective risk practices in the business.
- Provide risk advice in the assessment, root cause analysis and remediation of incidents for the GTS product domain.
- Provide input to regulatory requests and remediation, and support the delivery of remediation programs for the GTS product domain.
- Provide input into the quality of JUNO and Holocentric records and updates to drive a risk focussed culture.
- Coach and support the business to build greater risk awareness and capability.
- Act as standard bearer for certain Group risk policies, standards and procedures (e.g. Issues & Incident Management) ensuring these are applied consistently within and across each Product Domain Squad, thereby ensuring high quality risk management outcomes are achieved and sustained across the GTS business and value chain.
- Work within a virtual team of Risk Chapter Specialists across each of the GTS product domain value chain squads.
