Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing plastic extrusion lines.

Your responsibilities will include re-programming machines and robots, with experience with Fanuc Robots being a plus.

You will also visually inspect, test, diagnose and troubleshoot faulty equipment.

Preventative maintenance of all plant equipment is essential, including the installation of new or repaired parts to keep machines running at a high standard.

To perform these tasks, you will need to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematic prints (electrical, pneumatic and mechanical).

Effective communication and collaboration with production and senior leadership is crucial in solving problems and achieving consistent output goals.

Requirements
  • Driven team-player with strong technical skills and eagerness to learn.
  • Technical school training in Industrial Maintenance, Machine Repair, Automated Systems or similar skilled trades is desired, along with 2 or more years of verifiable work experience in related fields.
  • Experience with PLCs, drives and industrial controls is highly desirable.
