Job Title: Support Care Specialist

We are seeking caring, friendly, and compassionate individuals with strong communication skills who want a career that truly makes a difference in the lives of others.

  • This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities (including personal care), providing companionship and emotional support, promoting independent living, providing transport and community access, and domestic assistance as needed.

As a Support Care Specialist, you will be working with NDIS participants & ageing clients in the Sunbury area. We offer a supportive and flexible work environment with opportunities for ongoing development and learning, enabling you to create a positive impact within your local community.

We are a boutique in-home care provider servicing NDIS and ageing clients in Melbourne's North & West. We are a dedicated team of passionate professionals, committed to a person-centred approach with a responsive rostering team.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist clients/participants with daily living activities (including personal care)
  2. Provide companionship and emotional support
  3. Promote independent living
  4. Provide transport and community access
  5. Provide domestic assistance as needed

About You

You will need to have:

  • Cert III or IV in Disability (required)
  • Medication trained (desirable)
  • Experience with complex supports
  • Understanding of professional boundaries within the support work scope
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • CPR and First Aid certifications
  • Your own reliable transport with comprehensive insurance and a Victorian Driver Licence
