Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineering Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of quality assurance engineers and shape the technology team's focus on delivering reliable, high-performing, and user-friendly products.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a QA strategy that aligns with business and engineering goals, incorporating standards, test plans, and automation coverage.
  • Oversee test planning, execution, and reporting across projects, ensuring CI/CD pipelines are integrated with automation.
  • Drive initiatives for performance, security, and scalability testing to enhance product quality.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA engineers, fostering expertise in manual, automation, and performance testing.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to embed quality early in the software development life cycle.
  • Advocate for shift-left testing and test-driven development approaches to improve product reliability.
  • Identify gaps in tools and processes, recommending and implementing improvements to optimize quality assurance.
  • Act as the voice of quality in product planning and release readiness, providing clear test reports and risk assessments.
  • Partner with development teams to ensure defects are resolved effectively and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of experience in QA, including at least 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong background in manual and automation testing across Web, Desktop, Mobile, and API.
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, and Appium.
  • Strong understanding of databases (SQL, MongoDB) and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI.
  • Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and the software testing life cycle.
  • Expertise in API, UI, performance, and security testing methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong leadership with coaching and mentoring experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Visio, Excel).
  • E-commerce domain experience preferred.
  • Experience integrating test automation in CI/CD frameworks.
