Job Title: Youth Development Support Specialist

As a Youth Development Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting Children and Young People living in Residential Out-of-Home Care at our therapeutic, rural properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with and support Children and Young People who exhibit challenging behaviors
  • Help them achieve their social, educational, cultural, and emotional goals
  • Oversee their daily care and provide hands-on support in teaching life skills
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or equivalent
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence (Open or P2)
  • Approved Licensed Care Service check through the department, or ability to obtain one
  • Current Paid Blue Card or willingness to obtain one
  • First Aid and CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain them
