Digital Risk Financial Services Expert
As a Digital Risk Financial Services expert, you will focus on opportunities where your expertise can make a substantial impact to assist clients in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
This role involves conducting audits, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations for clients. You will engage with leading financial services clients across various sectors, providing a broad spectrum of experiences.
- You will utilise cutting-edge tools and artificial intelligence to assess and improve the adequacy, efficiency, and effectiveness of clients' operational processes, controls, activities, policies, and systems.
- You will tap into global networks to discover and implement solutions that address clients' most pressing challenges and assist them on their paths to transformation.
- You will support the lead on audit projects to ensure they meet agreed standards and timelines.
- You will research and analyse clients' needs to identify and assess potential issues within the regulatory framework.
- You will work with large datasets to uncover insights, drawing on experience in risk analytics and reporting.
- You will collaborate with the wider team on business development initiatives aimed at transforming risk functions.
Key skills and qualifications for success include having at least 5 years of relevant experience in risk assessment frameworks, preferably within Financial Services, FinTech, or Consulting. Experience with Australian and/or international prudential supervision, regulatory reporting, RegTech, capital management, enterprise risk, and risk data management is important.
A strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards is also necessary. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of third-party lifecycle management, including due diligence, risk assessments, monitoring, and offboarding.
