Job Title: Enrolled Nurse

About the Role:

  • This is a part-time position working 64 hours per fortnight, offering opportunities for career development and growth.
  • As a member of our Surgical team at Gold Coast Private Hospital, you will work collaboratively with a dedicated team of Registered and Senior Nurses to deliver outstanding patient care.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, evidence-based standards of nursing care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Collaborate effectively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs.
  • Act as a role model for Safe Practice principles.
  • Administer medications according to state law and organisational policy.

Essential Criteria:

  • Current Registration with AHPRA is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 1 year of acute experience is required.
  • Endorsement in medication and intravenous therapy is essential.
  • A commitment to quality patient care is crucial.
  • Compliance with Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Healthcare (ACSQHC) National Standards is necessary.
  • Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills are expected.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
