About this Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Technical Lead, Mechanical Engineering to drive project success, expand client relationships, and assist with business development opportunities.

This is a full-time role that combines technical excellence with business acumen and client engagement.

As a senior member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in leading project delivery, developing new business initiatives, managing internal design teams, and representing the company in industry forums and client presentations.

  • Lead client-facing project delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes and strong stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Assist with business development initiatives, identifying and pursuing new project opportunities and nurturing long-term client partnerships.
  • Manage internal design teams and oversee engineering assessments across complex, multi-client projects.
  • Represent the company in industry forums, client presentations, and strategic meetings to enhance our market presence.
  • Deliver technically sound and innovative Mechanical designs, reports, and specifications across various sectors.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in a design consultancy environment.
  • Proven experience in client engagement and project leadership.
  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at varying stages of delivery.
  • Strong technical knowledge in Mechanical Building Services.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for building client relationships and assisting with growing business pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A collaborative, can-do attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
