Role Overview


This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to take a step forward in their career or expanding their skills to be an accomplished broker. The role will involve supporting the Client Manager with bond applications, providing high-level client service, and participating in surety pre-renewal, renewal, and post-renewal activities.


Key Responsibilities



  • Support the Client Manager with bond applications
  • Provide administration support to our Account Brokers regarding client insurance/risk needs
  • Communicate with clients via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings to support their insurance needs
  • Participate in surety pre-renewal, renewal, and post-renewal activities, including drafting quotations and creating renewal reports
  • Prepare, lodge, and invoice policies in an accurate and timely manner
  • Develop solutions that result in improved client outcomes and retention

Requirements


This position requires a driven and motivated self-starter who possesses good analysis and problem-solving skills. Additionally, you will have the following:



  • Experience within the insurance industry (preferably with surety/bond application experience)
  • Solid business acumen and exceptional client relationship management capability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and strong presentation skills
  • Comfort working in a high-pressure professional environment
  • Solid planning and organisational skills with a strong work ethic
  • A collaborative attitude with a team-focused approach
