Clinical Support Specialist

The University of Western Australia seeks a highly motivated and organized individual to join their team as a Dental Clinic Assistant. This is a casual pool appointment, available on an hourly basis.
As a Dental Clinic Assistant, you will provide clinical assistance to dental students and OHCWA clinical staff during patient treatment. You will maintain high standards of infection control and hygiene throughout the clinic, and provide patient care and conduct administrative duties as required within the clinic.

This is a great opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art dental teaching and learning facility, with a chance to contribute to the delivery of clinical and technical training programs for dental students.
To be successful in this role, you will have a Certificate III or Certificate IV in Dental Clinic Assisting or equivalent, current knowledge of dental assisting procedures, and experience in dental assistance within public dental or teaching facilities.
You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
A current first aid certificate and working with children check will be required by the successful applicant.
