Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to fill the role of Lecturer in Transport Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and research in transport engineering, with a focus on emerging technologies such as predictive modelling, real-time traffic analytics, and autonomous vehicle integration.

Main Responsibilities

  • Undertake leading-edge teaching and research in transport engineering
  • Contribute to curriculum development, delivery, and assessment at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching methods and educational technologies to support online and on-campus learning environments
  • Provide academic guidance and support to students from diverse backgrounds and contribute to student equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives
  • Collaborate within a dynamic research environment and contribute to high-impact research projects

Key Requirements

  • PhD in a relevant field and/or relevant work experience
  • Proven ability to stay up-to-date with discipline knowledge and developments
  • Demonstrated expertise in teaching and learning design, development, and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level
  • Experience using and/or designing with educational technologies and online learning platforms
  • Evidence of teaching effectiveness and commitment to educational excellence
