Senior Project Engineer - Transport Infrastructure

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Project Engineer - Transport Infrastructure. As a key member of the Transport and Sustainability department, you will play a critical role in the delivery of complex transport projects.

The successful candidate will have highly developed technical and problem-solving skills, stakeholder engagement skills, and excellent communication skills. You must also be an experienced project manager with experience in complex projects, both of a technical and sensitive nature.

  • Stakeholder engagement and management
  • Specialist technical reviews and support
  • Contract management and administration
  • Participating in project governance, including developing and presenting reports
  • Developing project scoping briefs and proposals

The ideal candidate will possess a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering and several years of subsequent relevant experience. You must also have extensive experience in project management of highly complex projects, including budgeting, design, and delivery of capital works.

Additionally, you should have highly developed stakeholder engagement skills, experience in providing specialist technical and engineering support, and direct supervision of engineering work by unregistered Engineers.

Professional Engineers Registration in compliance with the Professional Engineers Registration Act 2019 is required. A current driver's licence is also essential.
