About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Food Service Assistant. This role involves providing excellent customer service, working effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve meals and snacks to residents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Restock food and supplies as required, and after meal periods.
  • Clean and maintain the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Maintain accurate records of food inventory and stock levels.
  • Prepare and present texture modified foods.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen during busy periods.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
  • Able to work well independently and as part of a team.
