About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sample Receipt and Logistics Officer to join our team at ALS. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our sample handling and logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promptly fill and dispatch bottle orders to clients in a timely manner.
  • Maintain well-organized stock areas and ensure accurate receipt and registration of client samples.
  • Provide administrative support as required, including answering phone calls and emails in a professional manner.
  • Arrange couriers and prepare freight for dispatch, ensuring sample deliveries and COCs are reviewed, labelled, and distributed within designated timeframes.
  • Enter information from client CoC documentation into the ALS LIMS system accurately and efficiently.
  • Liaise with clients, Client Services, and laboratory staff to resolve any anomalies or issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • A positive, responsive customer focus and quality service attitude with a professional demeanor.
  • Superior attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office suite, and experience with a LIMS system would be beneficial.
  • Ability to process multiple concurrent requests efficiently and accurately.
  • An understanding of laboratory safety and chemical hazards.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to absorb and retain high levels of information.
