The Role
We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver/Storeperson to join our team in Townsville. This is a permanent position that involves delivering and managing efficient service levels in the warehouse, including the delivery of products to customers and maintaining a safe and clean work area.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customers and collect stock returns from customers and suppliers
- Assist in checking and processing stock received into the warehouse
- Pick and pack stock for dispatch, ensuring accurate labeling and recording
- Adhere to safe work practices in the transport, delivery, and handling of products
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Unrestricted driver's license required
- Forklift license preferred but not essential
- Physically fit with a good safety record and knowledge of WHS systems
- Good organizational skills and time management
- Basic computer skills and experience with computerized warehouse systems
- Proactive, self-motivated, reliable, and customer-focused
