We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Ward Clerk at Healthscope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient-facing customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all patients and visitors.
- Handle inquiries with a friendly and professional manner, responding to patient and family needs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Manage clerical and administrative responsibilities, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient information and medical records.
- Assist nursing staff with indirect patient care, working under the supervision of Nurse Unit Managers to ensure seamless care delivery.
Selection Criteria:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Highly developed organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of patient care and administrative tasks.
- Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel), with the ability to effectively utilize these tools to support patient care and administrative functions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with healthcare professionals to achieve shared goals.
- Flexibility to work Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings, with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and service.
