Key Leadership Role for a Logistics Expert

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Melbourne-based cross-dock facility.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing cross-dock operations, supervising teams, and ensuring efficient freight flow. They will also possess excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

**Job Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee daily operations, including inbound and outbound freight flow
  • Supervise and lead a team of cross-dock supervisors and operators
  • Manage inventory levels and optimize layout for maximum efficiency
  • Implement quality control measures and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations

**Key Qualifications:**

  • Proven experience in cross-dock operations management
  • Strong understanding of Australian transport regulations and compliance standards
  • Proficiency in budgeting and cost management
  • Advanced computer skills, including MS Office/WMS/ERP systems
  • Current Valid LF Forklift License and Victorian (or Australian Equivalent) Drivers License
