Senior Manager, CTC Product Control Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Manager to lead our Product Control team in Institutional Banking and Markets (IB&M) Finance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong control framework around daily P&L and financial reporting, with expertise in developing relationships with Front Office & other stakeholder areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the daily and monthly P&L reporting and reconciliation for Commodities & Carbon desks.
  • Collaborate with trading desks, finance, and risk teams to investigate and resolve trade, position, and cash exceptions.
  • Drive system and process enhancements to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Provide strategic input into new product initiatives, including carbon markets and electricity expansion.
  • Manage audit walkthroughs and support governance forums such as NFRC and PC forums.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks and contribute to non-financial risk reporting.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5+ years in Product Control or a closely related field, ideally at Senior Manager level.
  • Strong understanding of traded market risk products, including complex derivatives.
  • Proven leadership experience with inclusive and outcome-driven style.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering systems/process uplift and automation, VBA, SQL, Tableau Prep, PowerBI, Alteryx or other analytical and automation tools.
  • Deep knowledge of risk management and internal control frameworks.
  • Accounting qualification – CPA, CA, CFA or similar.
