About Our Athlete Marketing Initiative:

We are seeking an experienced professional to support the delivery and execution of our Australian Athlete Marketing Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing athlete portfolios, developing marketing plans, and building strong networks within the Australian sports industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive athlete plans in collaboration with key stakeholders to drive impact and strategic priorities.
  • Lead athlete projects, including ideating innovative ideas alongside athletes and internal teams to develop and deliver credible outcomes.
  • Drive long-term athlete marketing strategies within local markets, including portfolio planning, athlete projects, and athlete marketing activities.
  • Regularly review individual athlete support packages and ensure maximum impact on consumer behavior.

Requirements:

  • Strong internal relationships across the business to maximize outcomes across the full marketing mix.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to collaborate with international and local counterparts.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals.
  • Strong understanding of the Australian sports industry and market trends.
