Environment and Facility Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Environment and Facility Care Specialist to join our team.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, have excellent maintenance skills, and are able to work independently.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and facilities of our village, ensuring they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gardening and Groundskeeping: Maintain gardens, mow lawns, and perform general gardening duties.
- Maintenance Excellence: Carry out various general maintenance tasks to ensure our facilities meet the highest standards.
- Transportation: Safely drive our village van to local shopping centers and on occasional outings, assisting residents in accessing essential services and social activities.
What We're Looking for:
- Experience: Previous experience in grounds and maintenance is preferred, ideally in retirement villages, aged care, or community settings.
- Independence and Initiative: Ability to work autonomously, using your initiative to solve problems and achieve goals.
- Communication Skills: Comfortable engaging with residents and colleagues, creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical activity.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required for transporting residents.
