About the Role

Ubank is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for providing reliable analytics, actionable insights, and partnering with the business through strategizing and sharing recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain financial planning models to ensure efficient and accurate forecasting.
  • Support the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function during financial plan development and reporting processes to meet agreed requirements.
  • Challenge business assumptions to strategize and drive financial forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to build reporting, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and dashboards, incorporating both financial and non-financial metrics.
  • Collaborate within Group Finance and with wider business units to provide relevant inputs for their reporting deliverables.
  • Conduct deep dives into operating expenses to understand cost drivers, major vendor spend, and identify opportunities for efficiency and savings.
Requirements
  • Strong communication skills
  • Exceptional stakeholder relationship management
  • Experience working with Power Query & large data sets
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft suite, Slack, and Confluence (or other collaboration tools)
  • CA or CPA qualifications
