Job Summary:

The Works Supervisor - Contract Services Manager will be responsible for ensuring effective delivery of contract services and supervising sub-contractor and self-perform works. This role requires a strong understanding of contract management, facilities maintenance, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily supervision of sub-contractors and self-perform works to ensure compliance with contractual arrangements and statutory requirements.
  • Conduct frequent audits to drive continuous improvement and maintain high levels of customer service.
  • Manage all work types under the Contract – Responsive, Planned & Project works.
  • Provide guidance to client personnel and subcontractors on contract management and facilities maintenance.
  • Assess and report on subcontractor performance and prepare monthly reports analyzing KPI and technical performance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve contract delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of contract services.

Requirements:

  • Technical expertise and trade training in a building-related profession.
  • Extensive experience in the domestic building industry, with a strong understanding of contract management and facilities maintenance.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with a focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with quality systems and a strong understanding of OH&S regulations and Building Code of Australia.
