Senior Communications Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Communications Specialist to join our team in Australia. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining unified communications solutions for our clients.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' voice infrastructure, including troubleshooting UC issues, escalating complex problems, and managing cloud and on-prem deployments.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement UC solutions for SME and mid-sized clients
- Provide remote and onsite support for voice infrastructure
- Troubleshoot UC issues and escalate complex problems within engineering teams
- Manage cloud and on-prem deployments
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A deep technical understanding of Unified Communications
- Advanced experience with SBCs, especially AudioCodes
- Proven experience with UCaaS solutions like Zoom and Teams; bonus points for Mitel, Cisco UCS, 3CX, Asterisk, Avaya
- Competence in VMWare vCenter/ESXi, networking (DHCP, VLANs, HP Switches, Meraki), SIP Trunking, FoIP
