Senior Claims Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Claims Advisor to join our Financial Lines team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing claims under D&O, Professional Indemnity, and other financial lines classes of business.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level expertise and manage claims to determine coverage
- Serve as an advisor to a portfolio of SME to Corporate top ASX large clients
- Participate in internal and external client meetings to foster relationships and drive settlement of claims
- Handle specialist financial lines claims and provide high-quality technical advice and support to clients
- Drive the settlement negotiation process and negotiate on behalf of the client
- Act as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of clients, demonstrating value and driving results
- At least 3 years of insurance claims experience, preferably in financial lines
- A Law Degree and experience in the legal environment and/or ANZIIF qualifications will be advantageous
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain and strengthen relationships with clients and insurers
- Good negotiation and persuasion skills
- Demonstrated commercial acumen
