SalaryBased on the role's requirements and industry standards, we estimate the salary for this position to be around $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Build and coach high-performing agile teams on agile mindsets and behaviors to ensure full team engagement.
- Strengthen teams' understanding of Agile by implementing a blend of processes such as Scrum, Kanban, Systems Thinking, and OKRs.
- Develop an end-to-end value-driven mindset for cross-functional squads.
- Analyze problems/solutions with stakeholders and lead the analysis.
- Capture requirements and translate them into detailed user stories for the engineering team, using the INVEST principle.
- Gain a deep understanding of business domains and act as the SME and stakeholder proxy to the engineering team.
- Work iteratively with stakeholders, focusing on critical functionality with scope built-in for flexibility to refine requirements through iterative development.
- Participate in agile rituals and prioritize the backlog for assigned projects, balancing stakeholder requirements.
- Facilitate scope management, quality, and timeliness in a team environment.
- Work across multiple projects across all stages of the software delivery lifecycle.
- Drive the focus on shipping to production as quickly as possible, using data to identify, escalate, and improve delivery bottlenecks.
- Accurately report on progress of tasks and projects, keeping in continual communication with project teams and management.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a solid understanding of the agile software development cycle.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to run workshops, showcases, and communicate effectively with engineers and stakeholders.
- Experimental and motivated to try new approaches and suggest improvements.
- Developed analytical skills, including the ability to interpret business needs and develop technical solutions.
- Ability to understand and document technical requirements.
- Developed problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
- Ability to manage competing stakeholder priorities and objectives.
- Ability to work productively in a fast-paced and agile environment.
