**Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced industry leader to take on the role of leading the projects arm of the business. Reporting directly to the director, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of project managers, engineers, and commissioning engineers.

You will be accountable for:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute departmental strategies to drive growth and success
  • Financial Management: Oversee the Profit and Loss (P+L) of the projects arm
  • Talent Development: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of project professionals
  • Innovation Implementation: Drive the adoption of innovative technologies and engineering applications
  • Project Delivery: Ensure successful project delivery from inception to handover, troubleshooting and assisting PMs as needed
  • Commercial Management: Manage commercial and contracts aspects of projects
  • Operations Excellence: Implement best practices and processes to optimize operations
  • Client Relationships: Develop key relationships with clients and stakeholders

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in a similar leadership role within a BMS contractor
  • A track record of successfully delivering multiple BMS projects exceeding $1 million in value
  • Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles, including solutions design, programming, and commissioning
  • Ability to mentor and develop teams to achieve exceptional results
  • Passion for controls and new technologies, with experience working on high-paced construction sites
  • Familiarity with industry-leading software and hardware, including Tridium Niagara, Honeywell, JCI, Delta, Schneider, and Siemens
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

**Salary and Benefits**

We offer a highly competitive salary package, estimated to be around $150,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a company vehicle or allowance, you will also have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
