Job Title:

A Compliance Expert is sought to lead and manage regulatory processes and procedures within the organization.

About the Role:

This role involves participating in the development and implementation of effective compliance processes and procedures. You will review existing policies and make recommendations for enhancements to ensure regulatory requirements are met. The role also involves actively participating in the conceptualization of new policies, frameworks, and programs to address changing regulatory standards. Additionally, you will assist with providing comprehensive analysis and guidance to the business on compliance matters and promote awareness of compliance risk among stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have experience working in a financial institution and interacting with regulators. They should have knowledge of the regulatory environment for financial services in Australia and New Zealand and be able to apply good sense and judgment in relation to interpretation of regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and enhance compliance procedures and policies to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the development of new policies and frameworks to address emerging regulatory standards.
  • Provide comprehensive analysis and guidance on compliance matters to the business.
  • Promote awareness of compliance risk and regulatory issues among stakeholders.
Requirements:

At least 2 years' work experience in a financial institution with a role related to financial services compliance. General knowledge or capacity to acquire knowledge of the regulatory environment for financial services in Australia and New Zealand. Ability to apply good sense and judgment in relation to interpretation of regulatory requirements.
