Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Renewable Energy Specialist. The successful candidate will lead the electrical design and delivery of renewable power projects across Australia.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage HV/MV/LV system design, oversee contractors, and ensure compliance with AS/IEC/IEEE/ANSI standards.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for optimal equipment selection.
  • Execute/review/validate Due Diligences, Feasibility Studies, Design for Grid Connection and Approvals, and Detailed Design (drawings, ITPs, studies, reports) for renewable power plants.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5 years or more of experience in design and construction of power plants, substations.
  • Experience working on multiple projects across the Australia that contains large scale renewable energy generation (Solar Farms, Wind Farms, Battery Energy Storage Systems etc.).

Preferred Skills:

  • Design tools such as DigSILENT, ETAP, CYMCAP or similar.
  • Knowledge in Protection, Earthing, Metering and Control Systems for High Voltage Substation.
  • Grid Connection Studies, Load Flow Assessment, Generator Performance Standards, Harmonics Analysis, AEMO Registration, R2 testing.
