Job Title: Compensation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled compensation specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing, including administering payroll tax, superannuation, child support payments, and wage on-charge invoices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage monthly General Ledger payroll journals, ensuring accurate reconciliation of all transactions.
  • Interpret Awards and Agreements, providing expert advice to staff and management on payroll-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and deadlines, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changing regulations.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives, streamlining payroll operations to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and position descriptions, supporting HR functions.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes, providing guidance on employment contracts and conditions.
  • Coordinate performance reviews, pay increases, and bonus letters, ensuring fair and equitable treatment of employees.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in payroll management, with expertise in Australian taxation and employment laws.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and procedures, with ability to communicate complex information to non-experts.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
