Restructuring & Insolvency Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team in the field of Restructuring & Insolvency. As a key member of our Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment, you will be responsible for addressing the full spectrum of financial and transactional challenges faced by corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, creditor constituencies, and other stakeholders.

  • Assist stressed and distressed clients in developing liquidity forecasts, improving cash flow, obtaining additional financing, and complex debt restructuring.
  • Work on formal restructuring mandates (Voluntary Administrations and Receiverships) where distressed businesses are traded on and sold for the benefit of secured and unsecured creditors.
  • Participate in client engagements under the supervision of more senior members of the team.

  • Gaining exposure to business transformations, focusing on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of clients' operations.
  • Benefit from on-the-job training, coaching, and support in undertaking an appropriate accounting qualification.
Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWhen You Join:
  • You will gain knowledge across a range of activities, including trade-on and sale of distressed entities, cash flow management, facilitating relationships with suppliers and customers, and managing accounting systems.
  • Support teams helping boards and management teams navigate through periods of underperformance or stress.
  • Assist with preparing creditors meetings, attending client sites, securing premises, assets, books, and records, conducting investigations into company demise, and compiling reports to ASIC and creditors.
  • Liaise with stakeholders in all aspects of the business, including regulatory bodies, suppliers, customers, and lenders.
  • Undertake financial modelling for reports such as financial due diligence and business reviews.
