Groundsperson Role Overview">

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the high standard of presentation at a resort and its surrounding areas, including pools, spas, and common spaces.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining pool facilities, water features, and other common areas to the highest standard
  • Undertaking grounds care, including mowing, pruning, and gardening as required
  • Assisting in irrigation system maintenance and management
  • Carrying out maintenance tasks on tools and equipment, unless specialist tradespersons are required
  • Assisting with pool and spa area maintenance and ensuring cleanliness standards are met
  • Reporting hazards and risks within the workplace to prevent harm to self or others
  • Building and maintaining professional relationships with guests, colleagues, and management
Required Skills and Qualifications">
  • Comprehensive knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance
  • Strong understanding of chemical safety procedures (AQF 3)
  • Excellent communication, management, and leadership skills
