About the Role

Ramsay Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Data Operations Manager to spearhead the optimization of data management across our organization. As a critical member of our team, you will leverage your expertise in data quality, governance, security, processing, and reporting to uphold the reliability and integrity of our data systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and Uphold Data Quality Standards: Develop and enforce data quality standards and governance procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Ensure Data Security and Compliance: Ensure adherence to data privacy regulations and security standards through effective data access management, encryption, and other security measures.
  • Drive Data Availability and Reliability: Develop and implement initiatives to guarantee the consistent availability of high-quality data for all critical business operations.
  • Manage Data Systems: Manage and maintain data systems, such as data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines, to maximize performance and uptime.
  • Identify and Resolve Bottlenecks: Identify and resolve bottlenecks in data processing workflows to minimize delays and ensure timely data delivery.
  • Develop Data Backup and Recovery Strategies: Develop and implement robust data backup and recovery strategies to minimize the impact of system failures and ensure data continuity.
  • Lead a High-Performing Team: Lead a high-performing team of data operations analysts responsible for managing data pipelines, ETL processes, and data Lakehouse solutions.
Requirements
  • Extensive Technical Experience: At least 10 years of experience in data operations leadership, with a deep understanding of data management principles and best practices.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft PowerBI, Google Cloud, BigQuery, DBT, Airflow, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Proven track record in leading and motivating data teams, creating a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Agile Mindset: Agile mindset and behaviors, adept at adapting to a rapidly evolving data landscape.
